Terms of Service: the free plan, Pro, and how to cancel

1. Agreement to Terms

By using CVBooster at cvbooster.ai, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

CVBooster provides a resume builder that requires a free account. The free account includes the ATS score, the before and after score for a job posting, the gap list and a blurred preview of your CV. The tailored CV, PDF, DOCX and plain text downloads, all 99 templates, AI job matching, bullet rewriting, and the cover letter generator are Pro features at $16.99/month or $99/year.

3. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Pro is a subscription: $16.99 per month, or $99 per year. On cvbooster.ai the monthly plan starts with a paid 7-day trial, described in section 4. It renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until cancellation.

4. The 7-Day Pro Trial (cvbooster.ai)

Pro monthly on cvbooster.ai starts with a 7-day trial that costs $2.99 (€2.99 if you pay in euro), charged when you start it. The trial gives you full Pro for 7 days. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at $16.99 per month (€16.99 in euro), charged at the end of the trial and every month after that until you cancel. We email you a reminder before the first monthly charge. You can cancel anytime from your account page, during the trial or at any time after it. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged the monthly price. The $2.99 trial fee is not refundable; cancelling before day 7 stops the $16.99 monthly charge. The yearly plan ($99 per year) has no trial.

5. App Store Subscriptions

CVBooster Pro may also be purchased as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store, at $16.99 per month or $99 per year with a 3-day free trial on the yearly plan. App Store subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are managed or cancelled in your Apple ID account settings. Apple's standard End User License Agreement applies to App Store purchases. Pro bought on cvbooster.ai through Stripe unlocks Pro on cvbooster.ai. A subscription bought in the iOS app through the App Store unlocks Pro in the iOS app. The two are separate and not linked: each is billed separately and cancelled separately, where it was bought.

6. Restrictions

Do not use our services for any illegal purpose
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Do not use automated tools to access our services without permission

Our services are provided "as is." We recommend reviewing and customizing all output. We do not guarantee job placement or interview outcomes.
